Hi, I am Rebecca Prince and am a Adelaide Hills artist. I have been loving teaching art workshops and classes to kids and adults for the past 10 years. Among other things, I offer after school art programs each term for kids and teens at the Paintbox in Hahndorf and the Mount Barker Community Centre. Exploring a wide range of media, students are encouraged to challenge themselves and gain confidence through the process of artistic creativity and creative problem solving. I like to cultivate a class atmosphere that is non judgemental and relaxed, each student's creative individuality is also nurtured. Becoming absorbed in the present intuitive nature of creating is encouraged rather than projecting forward to end results too much.

Refund policy

To ensure a secure spot in the class, classes must be paid for upfront. There are no credits or refunds offered for a change of heart or a no show. However we offer make up class credits to those who have missed classes due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances. Notification must be given at least 8 hours before class starts if your child can not attend due to illness, this is different for special circumstances (acts of god etc). In catastrophic fire conditions, the art school reserves the right to be closed, make up sessions for resultant missed classes will be organised at a later date. Children must wear shoes at all times and arrive dressed in appropriate art clothes, Arty Types does not take responsibility for stained clothing. Children who exhibit disruptive, abusive or bullying behaviour to other class attendees, will be asked to leave the class after failure to heed 2 warnings (no refunds are awarded for this circumstance). Parents must be punctual for pickup times and if not, must notify the art teacher and make other arrangements for someone else to pick up their child. Children must not attend the class if they are sick. If your child arrives sick, they will be asked to wait outside the class and you will be called to come and pick them up. This is to ensure other students don't get sick and the teacher doesn't get sick as a result. This is also in keeping with Covid rules and regulations
