Arugula Presents: Roquette Music Album launch with Autobahns(Germany), Love Banana and Electric Prawns 2

Meanjin garage/psych punks Arugula return to It's Still A Secret June 20 to celebrate the release of their debut album "Roquette Music" set for release May 29th. Known for their raw energy and catchy melodies that blend garage rock with psychedelic influences, the Sunshine Coast-based outfit have been making waves across the Australian underground scene with performances at festivals including Big Sound and Splendour in the Grass.

The band are very lucky to play alongside German lofi rockers Autobahns, the solo project of Swiss-Italian musician Giuliano Iannarella currently based in Leipzig, who released their compelling self-titled album in June 2024. Joining them are Gold Coast 60s pop inspired darlings Love Banana, whose indie pop sensibilities draw comparisons to Television Personalities and Flying Nun Records' classic sound, and the elusive egg punks Electric Prawns 2 from Moffat Beach, known for their grimy lo-fi garage punk sound with synth-heavy elements that has been making waves in the underground scene.
