As Above, So Below: A Sex Magick Ritual/Workshop to Activate Your Practice

Sex Magick is the intentional sculpting of sexual energy to harness creativity and deepen intimacy with ourselves, our beloveds, and our communities.   Sex Magick honors the sacred nature of our bodies and our erotic birthright.  We embrace pleasure as a divine force rather than something to suppress or commodify. We reclaim our power and deepen our connection to ourselves and others when we learn how to use our sexual energy as a force of transformation. 

This ritual/workshop, named after the popular Hermetic principle, works with the act of re-orienting ourselves into a sensually embodied way of experiencing the world.  Our bodies are powerful tools of calibration and energy. Together, we aim to create a supportive and inclusive space for exploration, allowing each participant to engage with these practices in an authentic and empowering way. Be prepared to explore how to work with the power of intention and ritual that fosters engagement with magic. Our discussions and experientials will include tips on how to clear emotional and energetic blockages, cultivate self-love, and align our desires with our personal values. By shifting limiting beliefs around pleasure and power, participants can learn to tap into their sexual energy not just for intimacy, but for creativity, healing, and transformation. 

This workshop will be a one-part lecture, one-part discussion, and one-part embodied ritual with applicable practices you can take home and build upon. You will be anointed to the "temple" upon entering the classroom space. Please bring any altar items and sacred tools (sex toys, plants, herbs, oils, potions, etc)  to use.   We will learn each other's names, speak our intentions of the class, and begin the work! It's like Hogwarts for Hos!   The class will end with a  "Braiding the Cord," ceremony specifically intended to catalyze a continued sex magic practice/   Closed practices will be respected, as the focus will be on creating our own container rather than appropriating from other traditions. 

This class is for beginners or for those with more experience with sex magic. You don't need any prior knowledge for this class.
