Event description

Our Sustainable House Day Showcase is back in it's original, glorious format for 2024!

At South Australia's favourite event leading up to Sustainable House Day, we will learn about multiple sustainable homes from around the state and meet the architects, designers, builders and owners who have created them. With 6 quick fire presentations to see + q&a time, prepare to be dazzled, entertained and delighted with sustainable home ideas!

Confirmed projects that you will hear from on the night:

  • Jackson Digney, Enduro Builders
  • Goodhouse 40 - Mark Thomas, Goodhouse Architecture
  • Amy's Earthship Goolwa - Dr Martin Freney, Earthship Eco Homes
  • Mile End Home - Paul Hendy, TS4 Living
  • Antonio Pisanelli, Passive House Adelaide
  • BONUS presentation - Heat Pumps and Electrification, Jonathen Hindry, Adelaide Heat Pumps

Many of the projects presented will be open for Sustainable House Day, on Sunday the 21st April, so come along to our Showcase on the 11th for your chance to hear about the projects prior to selecting which houses you want to see in person!

A fantastic event is in store, the price of entry includes a spread of premium South Australian food, and drinks will also be available for purchase on the night.

Our SHD Showcase will inspire, inform and connect people in South Australia, celebrating local sustainable house design and construction. Make sure to also get involved in the national Sustainable House Day event, where eco homes across SA will be open to the public on Sunday 21st of April. Bookings will be required for entry to houses this year (see ticketing information for these on the SHD website below).

Renew are also running a series of fantastic seminars in late April and May.

This event is part of Renew's nationwide Sustainable House Day program. View the full program here: sustainablehouseday.com/
