This event was set up as an online Focus Group to have your say on allergy education for undergraduate healthcare professionals.
This focus group is being hosted by the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) who are interested in hearing your feedback to make recommendations to government about including evidence-based, best-practice allergy and anaphylaxis training in undergraduate degrees for healthcare professionals.
The Social Deck supports ASCIA in organising and delivering the event.Â
Places are limited. However, if you notice that the event is fully booked, please register for the waitlist, and we will let you know as soon as a place becomes available.
Who should attend?
We welcome you to attend this event if you are a doctor who is:
- Currently registered and practicing in your profession
- Early-career (in the first five years of your career)

How will the focus group run?
The focus group will run for 1 hour. It will be an open discussion and you will be encouraged to contribute verbally and through the chat.Â
The event will be held online via Microsoft Teams. We will share the link with you closer to the date as part of our reminder emails. Participants will receive an e-voucher in recognition for their time.

Your personal information will only be shared with The Social Deck and Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA).
You will be asked to include your AHPRA number as part of your registration. This information will ONLY be used to verify that you are currently registered as a medical practitioner in Australia.
