ASDC March Members' Forum: Member tours and staff swaps

In March's forum, we'll be hearing how members can benefit from visiting other centres, both through project-supported staff swap schemes and self-directed tours.

Come along to learn how you can harness the ASDC network for professional development, inspiration and support on shared challenges, and to network with colleagues from across the UK.

What to expect

ASDC's project associate Sophie Ward will share insights and learnings from the Explore Your Universe staff swap scheme. We'll also hear directly from staff members who took part as they discuss their experiences. If you're at all interested in taking part in a future project-funded staff swap initiative, come along to hear how it works and give your feedback for what would make a similar future scheme suit you.

Following this, Steph McCann, Head of Fundraising at Aberdeen Science Centre, will walk us through the logistics and costings of organising a 3-day tour across four different ASDC member organisations, and how this informed both Aberdeen's short and long term strategic plans.
