Asia After Five: New Zealand–Korea music connections with There’s a Tuesday
Event description
Join us on Tuesday 4 November, 5–7pm at Big Fan for a special Asia After 5 event exploring Christchurch indie band There's a Tuesday's recent Seoul Residency, a creative exchange connecting New Zealand and South Korea’s independent music scenes.
The residency, supported by the Asia New Zealand Foundation in partnership with Big Fan, allowed the band to collaborate with producers and musicians from the CJ Culture Foundation and perform at a music showcase at the CJ Azit venue.
In this session Nat Hutton from There’s A Tuesday will share insights from her time in Seoul with Big Fan General Manager, Savina Fountain. Come along and learn about Korea’s fast-evolving music landscape, international creative collaboration and exchange and future pathways for New Zealand artists in Asia.
Admission is free but please RSVP for catering purposes.
