Event description
Local Government elections will be held in October this year. The Victorian government and the Borough of Queenscliff have a commitment to empowering women to take leadership roles in the community including on Council. Ask Her To Stand is step in this direction. Current and former women Councillors who have served the Borough of Queenscliffe, will answer general election related questions as well as provide useful links and information for women interested in standing in the October elections.
Panel will include Kerri Erler, Val Lawrence, Helene Cameron and Cr Isabelle Tolhurst. All have been Mayor of the Borough.
