Aspley Splash and Dash Family Fun Day 2025

We are kicking off the year with some fun!  Back for its fourth year – we’re inviting you to join us at Aspley State School on Sunday 16th February 2025 for our Splash and Dash Family Fun Day.

The day will commence with our ‘Splash and Dash’ event from 7.30am to 9.30am

• Register and nominate to swim or walk/run with a goal in mind – it might be one lap or it might be 10!
• Participants will have 30 minutes per event to travel as far as they can.
• All ages are welcome (children 12 years and younger must have a legal guardian present during their laps).
• Grand Finale: once all laps have been walked/run or swum, we will tally the combined total distances for the day - this will set our benchmark that we can aim to beat next year!

Aspley State School Students will compete for the Splash and Dash Trophy - Each family will gain points for their sports house – so bring your A-game to see who will take home our Splash and Dash Trophy for 2024!

Our Family Fun Day commences at 9.30am

• Win $100 Cash in our Lucky Duck Race - Buy a numbered duck for $5, the first duck across the finish line wins!
• Fantastic Raffle Prizes will be drawn at noon at the event – purchase raffle tickets online or on the day.
• Free hands-on activities will be provided by our Community Facilities Hirers and local clubs. Check facebook (@AspleySSPandC) for updates on who will be attending.  This is a great opportunity for your child to try an activity before joining.
• Coffee Van, BBQ, cold drinks and sweet treats on hand to fuel the family.

HOW TO JOIN US?

• Register via this booking page.
• Updates will be posted on the Aspley State School P&C Association Facebook Family Fun Day Event page 
• In 2025, we have reduced the “Splash and Dash” Entry fee to $FREE!! So there’s no excuses not to come take part!
• Participants must nominate their 30min timeslot in which to participate (for safety reasons, timeslots will be capped, so don’t miss out!)
• Raffle Tickets and Lucky Ducks can be purchased with your registration.
• Please register even if you’re only attending the Family Fun Day – this will help us cater appropriately.
• This is a family friendly event for the Aspley State School community.
