ASSA Swimposium - NZ
Event description
You Asked, We Listened – ASSA Swimposium is coming to Auckland, NZ.
For the past two years, Educators Day at the ASSA Conference has been a standout event for swim school professionals. Now, we’re taking it on the road and giving it a fresh new name—welcome to Swimposium.
Designed by swim schools, for swim schools, Swimposium is a full-day event packed with practical learning, industry insights, and professional development to help you and your team deliver even better lessons and teach more people to swim.
We know how important convenient, cost-effective ongoing training is—that’s why we’re bringing this must-attend event to Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Auckland, and Melbourne. No need for flights, extra accommodation, or multiple days away from your swim school—just a focused, high-impact day of learning that fits your schedule.

Consistency across multiple sites is one of the biggest challenges facing large swim schools. With over 5,500 weekly enrolments and up to 200 staff across four locations, SwimWell has tackled this head-on by transforming its recruitment and onboarding processes. In this session, we’ll share how new instructors are now confidently teaching solo after just four days of training—thanks to a structured blend of custom e-learning modules and practical sessions. Attendees will gain insights into SwimWells streamlined approach and see a live demonstration of one of our e-learning modules in action.
- Effective & Constructive Staff Feedback
Ingrid Sharp, Hilton Brown Swim School
This session explores feedback as a tool to strengthen performance, motivation, and team culture. We’ll look into what makes feedback effective, how and when to deliver it, and how to tailor your approach to build a confident, high-performing team.
