Explanation: Assertive outreach is an approach to organising, delivering highly coordinated and flexible support and healthcare services to people in the community wherever they are. The key areas of focus will be definitions, principles and practice of assertive outreach. How to identify hot spots/mapping, integrate the Quality By-Name List for an evidence-based practice. This general training session will cover the skills and knowledge required to develop a trauma informed practice and harm reduction approach to assertive outreach.
Audience: New communities and existing Advance to Zero communities.
