The Registration Standards 2025 mark a shift in the way assessment is approached within the VET sector—moving from a compliance-driven model to one that prioritises outcomes, learner achievement, and industry relevance. This webinar will unpack key changes and provide practical guidance on implementing robust, fit-for-purpose assessment systems.

We’ll explore how Outcome Standards 1.3 to 1.6 elevate expectations around assessment quality, consistency, and validation. These Outcome Standards require RTOs to ensure assessments are valid, reliable, fair, and aligned with current industry needs. They also place a renewed emphasis on ongoing validation and supporting students through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Given the complexity of assessment, this session will focus on priority areas where RTOs have requested further clarification, where new requirements have been introduced, or where audit data highlights common challenges.
