ASSFEST M25 is somehow even bigger than last year? With some gorgeous new curves that we're excited to show you...

But not QUITE yet... save the date, and if you're truly excited us show us your love with an early ticket sale. We promise this one's gonna be HUGE... lineup announced AFTER the close of Round One tickets, on the 1st of April.

WHAT THE HELL IS AN ASSFEST?

ASSFest is Australia's only national sexuality festival, held by the Australian School of Sexuality.

It's a series of collaborations between a philosophically/ethically aligned collective of educators in the realm of the erotic, esoteric and embodiment arts from across Australia. An immersion into intersections of consent, kink and sacred sexuality, our aim is to promote the holistic integration of these forms through the lenses of a variety of practices. We welcome diversity in our approach and forms held within a shared container of rigorous ethics and personal accountability.

Last year's lineup featured a Launch Party, 18 facilitators including international and interstate educators teaching 18 workshops across two days, a Temple Night, and a myriad of performers. We sold out and received wonderful feedback!

BUT WHAT IS IT???

Are you an erotic explorer keen to immerse yourself in community, connection and practise?

Or perhaps a curious newbie intrigued, excited and perhaps a little nervous to play with others?

We got you boo. We've designed our Melbourne ASSFest to be a choose your own adventure, a space of infinite possibility unique to you. You can go deep (hehe) or you can just pop in for an afternoon and learn some cool tricks. 

We're all about that pleasure, but pleasure is political! We're on a mission to spread sexual knowledge, combat shame and stigma, and facilitate a shift in culture. We dream of a world in which we understand our bodies, own our sovereignty and claim our pleasure. 

STRUCTURE / EVENTS

OPENING NIGHT

We'll be holding a launch party in the week preceding ASSFest - most likely Friday the 16th of May, TBC VERY soon. If you're a facilitator, helper, sponsor or attendee, you'll receive an invitation to this event.

WORKSHOPS

Saturday 17.05.2025 - Sunday 18.05.2025 10am-5:30pm

18!!! That’s right, oodles of choice. You can pick six. The workshop schedule and facilitator announcements will occur from the 1st of April AFTER close of Early Bird tickets.

We will also be offering a small selection of masterclasses and private classes throughout the week preceding the workshop weekend. These classes will be ticketed separately and announced soon.

TEMPLE NIGHT / ASSPFF

Saturday 17.05.2025 7pm-12am 

Last year's Temple of ASS was phenomenal and we're still blown away. We've got some pretty big plans for this year's Temple... it's still hush hush but you can expect expert facilitators, inspiring performances, strong consent and support systems and more than a dash of magic...

We've been wanting to do an Australian School of Sexuality Porn Film Festival since our inception SO WHY NOT DO IT ALL AT ONCE? Pornography is particularly political and contested territory. Our founders and some past facilitators have created porn, and it's part of our organisational ethos to bring different parts of the sexuality industries together into the same space. We're gonna share some of the very best international erotic art as well as some local gems. We'll have a couple of performances and a panel of industry professionals to share their perspectives. There's SO MUCH MORE to share about this but let's enjoy the anticipation together for a moment longer...

OPENING & CLOSING CEREMONIES

You are welcome to join us for an opening circle at 9.30am on Saturday the 17th, and for a closing circle at 5.30pm on Sunday the 18th.

INTEGRATION DAY

Sunday 25.05.2025 2pm-6pm 

A little bit of aftercare. This will be a very relaxed space to reconnect, share some reflections, and have just one last juicy bite...

TICKETING

Early Bird tickets are limited to 20 and this offer will close at midnight on the 31st of March.

We have a limited amount of volunteer tickets available. Please get in touch directly if you are interested in helping our event run smoothly!

We have limited discounted community tickets available for those in financial need. Please email australianschoolofsexuality@gmail.com for access to community tickets.

Financial transparency and profit share are key principles of ASS. Your ticket price ensures that our facilitators are paid fairly for their expertise, in an industry that is often undervalued. Facilitator affiliate codes will be released after the close of Early Bird tickets - purchasing tickets with your favourite facilitators event code will get them EVEN MORE!!!

Transport and Parking info: The venue is an few minutes walk from buses, trains and trams. There is limited untimed parking in the area.

Accessibility:

2 Workshop spaces are at ground level with a step.

1 Workshop space is up a flight of stairs.

Bathrooms are available for use on both floors.

As well as sex positivity, we love diversity and all curious and respectful 18+ humans are welcome.
