Our Online Astro Editing Workshop is designed to help photographers master advanced techniques for enhancing their night sky images. From Milky Way single images, panoramas or nightscapes, this workshop covers everything you need to bring your astro photography to life.

You'll learn how to perform noise reduction, adjust contrast, balance colors, and enhance hidden details to make your images pop. Special attention is given to stitching panoramic images, allowing you to create stunning wide views of the Milky Way. We’ll also cover exposure stacking and blending techniques, which help reduce noise and improve clarity in your images, with star reduction software while maintaining the natural beauty of the stars.

For those interested in Nightscape Images, you'll discover how to blend fine art lightpainting exposures with a sky image. The workshop will use popular editing software, with step-by-step demonstrations to ensure you understand the processes and techniques.

Our experienced instructors will provide hands-on guidance throughout, and there will be ample opportunities for Q&A, allowing you to address specific challenges with your own photos. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced astro photographer, you’ll come away with the skills to edit and create breathtaking nightscape images, panoramic Milky Way shots, and star trail masterpieces.

You will be sent a link for the online meeting on Teams with a link to a Mega.io folder where you will need to upload your 3 images for editing on the night. (panorama sequences are counted a 1 image)
