Each session is interactive and held in small groups, with the opportunity to ask questions and have the best possible experience.

  • Forecasting, Tracking & Positioning - We’ll cover location scouting, forecasting, tracking and essential planning techniques such as useful apps, the types of storms and essential storm safety.
  • Equipment & Settings You’ve planned your shoot, now let’s cover how to get the best images during the storm. We’ll take a look at Will’s camera equipment and identify essential techniques for focusing, exposure and the best camera settings.
  • Composition - Walk through real-life examples of Will’s work using all of the techniques covered, the best lenses depending on the scenario and how to use shapes and scale to convey the immense size of storm clouds.

What to bring

  • No equipment is required, although attendees are welcome to bring their camera to test settings or get assistance with specific Nikon models.
