ATA-DC will host a Turkish Republic Day Ball honoring the legacy of Atatürk and the nation’s journey to the present day.

The 101st anniversary grand ball will take place at the Washington Plaza Hotel on Saturday, October 26, 2024 6:00pm - 11:00pm. Please see important information at the bottom*

The Proclamation of the Republic of Türkiye on October 29, 1923 marked a pivotal moment in Turkish history, as it signaled the end of the Ottoman Empire and the beginning of a new era with the founding of the modern, democratic, and secular Republic of Türkiye. Atatürk, the Republic’s founding father, implemented a series of reforms aimed at transforming Türkiye into a modern, democratic, and secular nation-state.

This year, as we celebrate this landmark milestone for the Turkish Republic, we look forward to a memorable Republic Ball with greater participation from the Turkish-American Associations and our community members.

* The "Early Bird" tickets will be on sale until September 30, after which the prices will increase. Active membership is required for the member priced tickets. Family membership holders can purchase up to 4 tickets. Single members are entitled to purchase up to 2 tickets.
