    Event description

A 3-part online webinar series for outdoor enthusiasts about the current climate emergency and the actions we can take to protect our playground.

If you enjoy spending time in nature, no matter the activity or level of competitiveness, there is an intrinsic connection between athlete and the environment.
This webinar series will equip you with the knowledge and tools to undertake kaitiakitanga (environmental stewardship) and climate action.
We have a stellar lineup of guest presenters, experts in their own right, who will inspire you into action.

Dr Mike Joy is a well-respected freshwater ecologist, researcher and award-winning science communicator.
He will provide valuable insights that shed light on the challenges our planet is currently facing, with actionable steps to transition towards a more sustainable future.

This is part 1 of 3 in the series. The next two are:

17 April - Damian Hall, a record-breaking GB ultra runner, author and climate activist

24 April - Emma Strutt, an Australian accredited practising dietitian

Your host is Ben Eitelberg, an environmentalist, an accredited endurance sports coach and a plant-powered trail ultramarathon runner.

This webinar series is proudly sponsored by Pathfinder, a certified B-Corporation ethical KiwiSaver focussed on generating individual wealth and collective well-being - https://pathfinder.kiwi
