Event description
The winter solstice marks a transition to lighter days and presents a chance to reflect and atone, before the earth begins to tilt back on its axis.
This annual ceremony will feature poetry readings by Arihia Latham, Tim Grgec, and Hannah Mettner; live music; and a series of open fires used to bake ceramics in, to mark the date (and keep you warm!)
If you would like to create a ceramic object for this event, a workshop is being held by artist Annaliese Rosa – you can sign up for that here.
