Join us for the 2024 ATS Labs Demo Day and meet 14 cutting-edge startups pioneering accessibility tech solutions with the potential for massive scalability. From autonomous personal mobility vehicles to adaptive clothing, these remarkable companies from 4 countries are working to transform lives and are seeking investments and partnerships to scale their impact. 

This event will include a fireside chat with Angela Bonfanti, President and CEO of CNIB, along with startup pitches, and an audience of investors and prominent accessibility leaders. For those involved in accessibility innovation, disability inclusion, and social impact entrepreneurship, this is a must-attend event!

The ATS Labs Demo Day is a free hybrid event that will be hosted at The DMZ at Toronto Metropolitan University at 341 Yonge St, Toronto with the option to join online via Zoom. 

Meet our cohort:

  1. Baby Zips, 🇨🇦: Makes the process of dressing children easier with zipper integration, adaptive hoodies, pants, jackets and inclusive-TEEs.
  2. MedInclude, 🇨🇦: Helps providers better communicate with patients by simplifying and translating medical information.
  3. Pump Pocket, 🇨🇦: Makes undergarments with specialized pockets to hold an insulin pump and/or receiver for children and teens with type one diabetes.
  4. Orthosium Inc., 🇨🇦: for patients recovering from a lower-body injury or post-surgery, the CastOff Weight-bearing system provides biofeedback using a sensor-based insole, a tracking pod and smartphone app.
  5. 119, 🇺🇸: A patent-pending communication tool for individuals who need personalized medical care on a recurring basis, to guide bystanders through the appropriate response in an emergency situation.
  6. Autism Travel Club (ATC), 🇺🇸: Empowers businesses and their employees to support autistic people and their families through autism-sensitive experiences.
  7. Blueberry Technology Inc., 🇺🇸: Autonomous personal mobility solutions designed for airport environments to enhance last-mile transportation.
  8. Good Trouble Games Inc., 🇺🇸: Designs and builds remarkably accessible video games, alongside pioneering accessibility tech that extend beyond gaming to democratize education, job training, and social benefits for people with disabilities.
  9. Soul Mobility Inc, 🇺🇸: Bridging the gap between sleek, compact manual wheelchairs and larger, dedicated power chairs with the Power-Flex power base attachment.
  10. Testa Seat Inc, 🇺🇸: Multifunctional seating solution designed to meet the needs of children with physical disabilities and their parents.
  11. Accessercise, 🇬🇧: The world’s first complete fitness app, specifically designed for the disabled community.
  12. PoiLabs, 🇬🇧: Making venues accessible for visually impaired and blind individuals through its advanced indoor location platform.
  13. Split Atom Labs Pty Ltd, 🇦🇺: Accessible-by-design casual games with social connection at their core for people with disabilities.
