Auckland Italian Short Film Night - Show Me Shorts

Step into the enchanting world of Italian storytelling with this collection of short films. This vibrant showcase presents seven Italian short films that offer a glimpse into the hearts and minds of some of Italy's most successful and inspiring creatives. The films include colourful and imaginative animations, modern drama, rarely seen historical documentary footage, a glimpse into daily life at a religious community, and a comedic take on learning to dance. Celebrate Italy’s rich culture and traditions by joining us for the screening. This collection of short films was curated in collaboration with La Guarimba Film Festival and is presented in partnership with the Embassy of Italy.

The seven Italian short films include:

1. Radio Perla Del Tirreno, a documentary directed by Noemi Arfuso
2. Rosaria's Marriage, an animation directed by Oscar Renni & Adina Oana Enache
3. Zabut, a drama directed by Giuseppe Schillaci
4. A Guerra Finita (Once War is Over), an animation directed by Simone Massi
5. In Light, a documentary directed by Alice Fassi
6. Pentola, and animation directed by Leo Cernic
7. Nother - Us, a music video directed by Marco Santi
