Event description

EVENING

Join us for An Evening with Mark Elsdon: Leveraging hidden assets for mission and growth, a night of inspiration, insight, and meaningful conversation. Author of Gone for Good? and We Aren't Broke, Mark Elsdon is a recognised author, speaker, and social innovator whose work explores the intersection of faith, investing, and social change. Speaking from an American context, Mark will be challenging churches to uncover the wealth of resources we have around us and how to deploy these resources for Gospel work in our individual context.

Following Mark's keynote presentation there will be a panel discussion featuring local experts and stakeholders who will tie the themes of Mark's presentation to our context in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Whether you are a community leader, changemaker, or simply curious about new ways to create lasting impact, this evening offers fresh perspectives and practical wisdom.

Come ready to be inspired, ask questions, and connect with others who are passionate about making a difference.

WORKSHOP

Workshop with Mark Elsdon - New mindsets to unlock Gospel outcomes

Join Mark Elsdon and local experts in a workshop crafted to teach Design Thinking. Following from the evening session the night before, Mark will be illustrating how our approach to problem solving will be the central tool in unlocking the resources around us for the Gospel. The workshop will also feature international and local examples of social enterprise, the reimagination of church resourcing, impact investing strategies, and redemptive property development.

Come prepared to collaborate with others, think critically, and explore how church assets and initiatives can be leveraged in new ways.
