We Belong: Social Event - Small Talk Strong Connection
Description
Think speed dating, but for your career.
Join NAWIC for an engaging evening of Small Talk, Strong Connection, designed to bring women across the construction industry together for a series of quick-fire, meaningful conversations, locally supported by Holmes & RLB.
Whether you’re looking for career advice, a fresh perspective on an industry challenge, insight from someone who has been there before, or simply an opportunity to expand your professional network, this event is all about making connections and starting conversations.
Throughout the evening, mentees will rotate between mentors from a range of senior roles and backgrounds, creating opportunities to ask questions, bounce around ideas, talk through challenges, share experiences and discover common interests. There’s no pressure to arrive with a big career question or a five-year plan. Sometimes one conversation, one piece of advice or one new connection is all it takes to spark something valuable.
And mentoring doesn’t have to end when the timer goes off. You might meet someone you’d like to stay connected with, find a potential mentor, or simply walk away with new ideas and a broader network of women working across our sector.
Fast conversations. Fresh perspectives. Genuine connections.
Come along, meet someone new, share what you know and leave with a few more people in your corner.
