Event description
Join us August 24th at Fernandez Ranch (Martinez) to Harvest Willow for Acorn Granary Construction at the San Lorenzo Library!
We're super honored, and extremely excited, to be partnering with the Alameda County Library to produce Acorn Granary Constructions at their libraries!
We're also proud and grateful to announce our first collaboration with John Muir Land Trust, in a bid to Reopen Indigenous Foodways and help foster the resurgence of Traditional Cultural Practices on Ohlone Land in Huchiun Aguasto!
This Willow Harvest Event will provide the willow we will use to construct an acorn granary at San Lorenzo Library. Please be aware, Fernandez Ranch is not accessible by Public Transit. Please carpool if you can!
Join us for the Harvest, and come use the very same willow to build a granary on August 27 with us and ACL!
Flexible prices mean you can choose your own price. Pay what you can. [This includes $0] No one turned away for lack of funds.
Help support our efforts to reopen Indigenous Foodways, restore food sovereignty, and educate the public about sustainable harvest practices.
Together we can decolonize this place!
