• Where does it start?

  We’ll meet at Jono’s studio above the Ben David store in Surry Hills. Full address and access details will be sent closer to the date.

• What is the mode of transport for the tour?

  Yes. The day involves a fair amount of walking around Surry Hills and nearby suburbs, with one short Uber transfer after lunch.

  Comfortable shoes are essential.

• Is food included?

  Yes, you will have coffee/tea and a pastry to start (pre-ordered when you book your ticket)

  A beautiful lunch at an amazing restaurant is also included (soft drink included but alcoholic drinks to be purchased separately), as well as a glass of bubbly at the final destination.

• How many people are on the tour?

  This is a small, intimate group of 14 guests, hosted by Jono Fleming and Lucy Gough.

• What's not included?

  • Personal shopping purchases

  • Any deliveries arranged with stores

• Will we stop for lunch?

  Yes. We’ll stop for a group lunch at a local Surry Hills venue. Dietary requirements will be collected in advance.

• Can I buy things on the day?

  Absolutely. Many guests do.

  We recommend travelling light and arranging delivery for larger items where possible. Smaller purchases are fine to carry.

• Is this tour suitable for non-designers?

  Yes. You do not need to be a designer to attend.

  This tour is ideal for anyone who loves interiors, is renovating, furnishing a home, or wants insider styling insight.

• Will there be photography and filming?

  Yes. Photography and short video clips may be captured throughout the day for social media.

  If you prefer not to be photographed, just let us know on the day and we’ll respect that.

• What should I bring?

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • A crossbody or backpack-style bag

  • Phone or notebook for notes and photos

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

• What happens if it rains?

  This tour will proceed rain or shine.

  Please bring an umbrella if rain is forecast.

  In the event of extreme or unsafe weather conditions (such as torrential rain, severe storms, or conditions that make walking unsafe), we may adjust the route, substitute indoor stops, delay the start time, or reschedule the tour.

• Are tickets refundable?

  • This tour will proceed rain or shine. In the event of extreme or unsafe weather conditions (such as torrential rain, severe storms, or conditions that make walking unsafe), we may adjust the route, substitute indoor stops, delay the start time, or reschedule the tour.

  • If the tour is unable to proceed in a meaningful way due to these conditions, ticket holders will be offered a transfer to a rescheduled date or a credit. Refunds will only be offered if the event is cancelled outright.

  • Refunds are available only if cancellation is made in writing at least seven days prior to the tour date.

  • No refunds will be provided in the event of non-attendance on the day of the tour.

• Is there any risk involved?

  This is a walking tour through public spaces and retail environments. Guests participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own belongings.

• Who do I contact on the day?

  You’ll receive a mobile contact number the day before the tour for any urgent questions.
