August 25th Sunday Crafternoon: DIY Bookmarks!

This week's theme is... DIY Bookmarks! Maybe the summer reading season is coming to a close, but you know what's even better? The impending autumn of getting curled up and cozy with a good book! Come to the Education Studio at SCRAP this weekend to make yourself an absolutely adorable bookmark to motivate your reading (and keep your place). We've got all sorts of creative ideas—corner tab bookmarks, beautiful tissue paper collage bookmarks, magnetic bookmarks, teabag-shaped bookmarks, and MORE! 🌧️☕️💭📖🤎📚

 Crafternoon is a self-guided, themed, creative reuse craft activity with materials provided! Every week we like to pick a theme or simple project to explore. Our favorites include seasonal decor, mini race carts, dioramas, paper marbling, and unusual material challenges! Guests are welcome to make and take home as many creations as they would like.

To reserve your spot/seats before the event, tickets can be purchased in advance through Humanitix for $10-20 plus fees. SCRAP prioritizes access to affordable art materials and expressions, so if the ticket price poses a hardship, please select the Curious Crafter option. If you would like to lend us some extra support, select the Patron of the Arts ticket (and we thank you so much!). Please feel free to call the store (503-294-0769) on the day of the event if you have any questions.

All event ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you cannot make it to the event, please feel free to send a friend in your place. If you are unable to do that, we still cannot refund your ticket, but you could think of your payment as supporting our SCRAPpy little creative reuse non-profit!
