August Practice and Connection Forum 

Intersect: Family Violence and Housing 

Supporting clients experiencing family violence with housing needs. This forum is aimed at practitioners who are in a client-supporting role, but whose main focus is not within the housing sector. This training aims to upskill practitioners to be able to support their clients experiencing family violence who are also presenting with housing and/or financial instability. 

Programs, referral pathways, secondary consultation points, and resources will be addressed at the forum.

The Gippsland Family Violence Alliance Practice & Connection Forums are open to all practitioners working in Family Violence, AoD, Mental Health, Family Services or any other workforce prescribed under MARAM (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment) Framework.

Each Practice & Connection Forum is designed to provide information to practitioners to build their knowledge, skills and practice around particular topics, while providing opportunities to identify and enhance collaboration between practitioners and organisations across the service sector.
