Event description
Still struggling to find your rhythm?
We have another upcoming dance workshop that can help with that!
Introducing the 6th edition of our Dance Workshop series led by the one and only Semma Scene.
Kuthu Dance style is a popular and energetic folk dance form originating from Tamil Nadu in South India. It is characterised by its high-energy movements, rhythmic beats, and often spontaneous performances. Kuthu dance is traditionally performed during festivals, celebrations, and cultural events, and it is accompanied by fast-paced music, usually featuring instruments like drums and dholaks.
Siva Shankar and Joyce Paul from Semma Scene will teach the basics of the South Indian Kuthu style to the song Matta from The GOAT - we suggest you bring your fullest energy to this workshop!
