THE AULD ALLIANCE AT KILDERKIN DISTILLERY featuring Amie Brûlée & The Ukulele Scotsman

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Come along and enjoy a fun evening of Scottish, Irish, French, and Australian songs with the Auld Alliance. Amie Brûlée (Ballarat) has joined forces with the Ukulele Scotsman, Graeme McCoglan (Sydney/Glasgow) to form a new contemporary folk duo. They combine their Scottish and French roots with fine vocal harmonies, ukulele, double bass, kilts and smiles.

To complement the music, Kilderkin’s bar will be open to whet your whistle in style - settle down with one of their delicious gins, and get into the spirit of the night with some carefully selected cocktails and spirits. Beer, cider and soft drinks are also available.

This is sure to be a fun evening for all. Grab a drink at the bar, sing along (and if you're game, wear your kilt).

With a passion for folk music, whisky and wine, the Auld Alliance’s warm sounds will transport you across to Bonnie Scotland and La Belle France with renditions of Caledonia, Loch Lomond, La Vie en Rose and Sur Le Pont d’Avignon.

Donning their kilts and blue stripes and singing up a storm, the Auld Alliance serves up the musical equivalent of a good Scottish whisky and a fine French cheese.
