Event description

Love coffee? Have an old camera you don't find time to use? Or just like yapping? Or all of the above? Consider coming to AUMAs coffee and camera crawl, where we will be going on a lil wholesome ol’ walk to some nice coffee spots in the south of the city, and other points of interest, before ending at the central markets.

On the walk, please let us know if there are any photos you would like to take, recreate or places you wanna pass by or stop at. If you would like a photo of you taken, also let us know!

Cameras📸

So yes camera crawl means cameras. Everyone is welcome to and highly encouraged to bring their cameras, and if you do not have a camera, you may be able to borrow one from us (just let us know in the rego). Or just bring a phone camera (they count too!) No prior experience required, we can all learn together!

Routing 🗺️

Points of interest mid route are purely subjective (beauty in the eyes of the beholder or something) so the times between places can change, although I do not expect it to be drastically so.

[Feel free to have lunch anywhere (if bringing from home) but would recommend it around Himeji Gardens / Pinco Deli]

◾UoA Hub to Seoul Sisters - around a 20 minute walk normally, will be going through Grenfell, Pirie and Flinders Streets, scenic-ish walk with some interesting buildings,

◾Stop at Seoul Sisters - Probably 20-30 minutes, coffee break

◾Seoul Sisters to Hutt Street Photos - around a 10-15 minute walk, more interesting stuff possibly

◾Stop at Hutt Street Photos - not long here, I will chat with the boys at the shop in advance and see if they do wanna talk, won't be longer than 5 minutes, otherwise (if nothing arranged), will be more of a passing stop

◾Hutt Street Photos to Himeji Gardens - 10 minute walk, mostly just Hutt St. to witness

◾Stop at Himeji Gardens - Photo ops for people who want it, or just a stroll for others, around 15-20 minutes here

◾Himeji Gardens to Pinco Deli - 10 minute walk

◾Stop at Pinco Deli - second coffee stop, same rule as first, people encouraged to have their lunches here (if buying here or bringing from home, or wait till Markets)

◾Pinco Deli to Central Market - 15 minute walk (estimating), flexible route, interesting areas being the start of Chinatown and the nooks and crannies surrounding it.

OVERALL Estimating it to be 2 hours 30 minutes as a quick estimate, realistically looking at 3 hours - 3 hours 30 minutes duration

Food and Drinks Options 🥪☕

Seoul Sisters

Very nice little coffee shop tucked away inconspicuously, very good coffee, usual cafe options with an Asian twist. Price is what you would expect from a cafe in the city tbh.

Pinco Deli

A very popular spot on Glen Osmond Rd, now having opened its second shop in the city, good coffee and known for their sandwiches, they are pricey as are almost all the sandwich places in Adelaide (yay for trendiness ✨).

Central Markets

Maaaany different options here of varying price points and cuisines, I think it's pretty evident aha.
