China Life Sciences Ecosystem Immersion

Shanghai & Suzhou | 23-27 November 2026

AUScelerate's BioGateway China: Ecosystem Immersion has been designed for Australian life sciences organisations seeking to better understand, engage with and build relationships within China's rapidly evolving healthcare and innovation landscape.

Over five days, delegates will gain access to leading hospitals, innovation districts, biotech clusters, funders, government and industry leaders across Shanghai and Suzhou. Participants will meet the organisations shaping China's future in clinical research, drug development, medical technology and healthcare innovation while exploring new opportunities for collaboration and growth.

This is a curated executive immersion designed to help participants understand how China's innovation ecosystem works, how partnerships are formed, and where future opportunities may emerge for Australian organisations.

Why China?

China is no longer simply a manufacturing hub or an emerging healthcare market. It's now one of the world's most dynamic life sciences ecosystems, driving innovation in clinical research, biotechnology, medical technology and translational science at unprecedented speed.

This is a market with globally competitive capabilities in:

Clinical research and trial delivery
Biotechnology and drug development
Medical technology innovation
Digital health and AI-enabled healthcare
Research translation and commercialisation
Manufacturing and supply chain excellence

For Australian organisations, understanding China's innovation ecosystem is increasingly important for identifying collaboration opportunities, supporting global growth strategies and building long-term relationships with partners across Asia.
