AUScelerate's Trade Mission to The MedTech Conference 2026 - Boston
Description
AUScelerate is again leading a delegation to the AdvaMed MedTech Conference, being held this year in Boston, Massachusetts, from 18–21 October 2026. The conference — and AUScelerate's extensive value-add program of activities and events — is ideally suited for medtech startups, service providers, SMEs, researchers, tech transfer professionals and entrepreneurs looking to explore new business opportunities and build valuable connections in the US medtech market and beyond.
Massachusetts boasts a booming medtech sector that contributes nearly $18 billion to the state economy and serves as its top export. Driven by powerhouse hubs like Cambridge and MetroWest, the industry supports roughly 85,000 direct and indirect jobs while anchoring continuous life-saving innovation.
The Australian presence at the conference this year will have a dual focus. We will provide an elevated platform for Australia's emerging medtech companies to showcase their technology and make an impact with strategics and investors. We will also position Australia as "your development partner" — covering CDMO, consulting and clinical trials. This dual focus will ensure targeted messaging, cut-through and, ultimately, deals.
One of the many benefits of joining our trade mission is that we act as your sales partner, promoting your services while you are in partnering meetings. We have also secured a presentation spot on the Sunday "Doing Business Globally" program, where we will highlight Australia's development partner credentials and elevate your brand.
AUScelerate is geared to help Australian companies tap into international opportunities to grow their businesses. To maximise the value of the mission, several key opportunities are on offer:
Co-exhibitor status on the Australian Pavilion with prominent company branding, with support from AUScelerate’s on the ground concierge service
Investor Spotlight/Pitch Program in New York on Wednesday 14 October — focused on eligible emerging and scaling medtech companies*
Two-day site visit program across Greater Boston on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 October, including visits with strategics, emerging companies, institutes, hospitals, incubators and investors, plus a networking event with MassMEDIC — the largest state medtech association in the USA with over 300 members
Networking events with AUScelerate friends including Medical Alley, Biocom California, AAA and more
About The MedTech Conference 2026
Running from 18–21 October, The MedTech Conference will convene nearly 5,000 industry leaders from companies designing, producing and distributing advanced medical technologies. The conference offers an interactive educational program, business development and partnering opportunities, product showcasing and networking across four full days at the Boston Exhibition and Convention Center.
Team Australia Pavilion
As part of the mission, AUScelerate will deliver a prominent Team Australia Pavilion — a high-profile hub to gather, meet and conduct business. The Pavilion will reflect our dual focus to maximise engagement with conference attendees. Companies who register for the delegation will automatically qualify as a co-exhibitor, showcasing their brand and contact information to the global medtech community.
