Ausdance ACT presents a Workshop with Bangarra Dance Theatre

While in Canberra, Bangarra Dance Theatre is committed to engaging with the community beyond the performance by holding a beautiful contemporary dance workshop inspired by the Company's work Illume, on at the Canberra Theatre on the 25th and the 26th of July.

The workshop will focus on exploring cultural elements of dance in a contemporary setting. The event is open to pre-professionals 14+ years old, independent dance artists, dance teachers and adult dancers with an intermediate to advanced level of training in contemporary dance.

The workshop will be facilitated by the wonderful company members, who will share the rich culture and history that is sewn through their storytelling. Join us to experience the special and unique world of Bangarra Dance Theatre!

Please wear comfortable clothes to move in, preferrable long trousers and long sleeves top, socks or bare feet.
