Hazards

Heide Museum of Modern Art welcomes visitors with disabilities and our staff will do everything possible to provide all visitors with a positive experience. Please contact the museum on (03) 9850 1500 or info@heide.com.au if you have questions or to discuss your access requirements. Access to the museum and surrounding gardens can be challenging as Heide consists of a group of buildings on a sloping site, including two heritage-listed buildings which were originally private residences.

Toilet location

Toilets with wheelchair access are available in the Main Gallery building, Heide Café and in the upper car park.

Accessible parking

We advise visitors with limited mobility to park in the lower car park for easy access to the Main Galleries, Heide Modern and Heide Cafe. Car park entry is via Banksia Park, 5 Templestowe Road. Two accessible parking spaces are available in the lower car park.
