Description

Building happy healthy minds through connection and play.

This FREE program is designed to be attended weekly each Monday morning during Term 4.

For children aged 3 to 5 years attend with their parent/s. The I Spy Feelings program is developmentally appropriate for children in this age group.


What will children learn?

Children will be taught about the 4 main feelings - anger, sadness, fear & happiness and learn age appropriate ways to recognise & name how they feel.

What will parents learn?

Parents will be taught how to help children understand & communicate how they’re feeling through conversation and using books, puppets, games and play.

About the Aussie Optimism program?

Aussie Optimism was developed by Curtin University to promote positive mental health and help reduce & prevent anxiety & depression in children. It uses this information to help children develop social & emotional skills & build resilience & empathy.
