Austin Texas Book Trail

Welcome to the 2024 Austin Texas Book Trail! We’re thrilled you’re supporting local, independent, and non-profit community bookstores in Austin and the surrounding towns. The ATBT is happening on Saturday, April 27 and we have 25 participating bookstores. It’s a day for celebrating our local bookstores and literary community — perfect for families, friends, or a solo adventure. 

How does the day work?

• We’ll be hosting a kickoff breakfast with free coffee and tacos (while supplies last) from 9-11am the morning of the book trail at Mañana Dos (@mananaatx). Pick up your 2024 ATBT trail map there, or at any participating store (full store list below) on Saturday, 4/27
• Visit as many stores as you can on Saturday, 4/27
• Ask a bookseller at each store you visit to mark your trail map
• Each store you visit = one raffle entry. No purchase is necessary at each stop, but buying books and supporting our local shops is always encouraged!
• Follow @austintexasbooktrail on Instagram and tag us along your trail route 
• Wind down the day with popup booksellers, check out the raffle prize bundles, and meet other trail-goers as we toast together at Better Half Coffee & Cocktails (@betterhalfbar) from 5-7pm.
