Australasian Public Library Conference 2025

The Charles Sturt Libraries Research Group is convening an Australasian Public Library Conference from 1-3 July 2025. The conference will showcase recent research related to public libraries, and will consist of invited presentations and panel discussions across six sessions, each with a theme related to contemporary public library issues. The sessions will be:
- The Role and Function of Public Libraries (Tuesday 1 July, 10:00-11.30am AEST)
- Public Library Collection Development & Management (Tuesday 1 July, 2:00-3.30pm AEST)
- Public Library Programs, Services & Community Engagement (Wednesday 2 July, 10:00-11.30am AEST)
- Indigenous Perspectives on Public Library Services (Wednesday 2 July, 2:00-3.30pm AEST)
- Public Libraries and Early Childhood Literacy (Thursday 3 July, 10:00-11.30am AEST)
- The Public Library Workforce & ARC Discovery Project Launches (Thursday 3 July, 2:00-3.30pm AEST)
