Australasian Virology Society (AVS) Virtual Symposium & AGM (2025)

Australasian Virology Society will be holding a one day symposium on Tuesday December 9th 2025, in conjunction with our annual general meeting (AGM).

 An exciting broad virology related program has been planned, that will include invited international and national presenters.

AVS Community Hubs

For the 2025 event, our ECR subcommittee have booked the following venues for in-person viewing

• VIC: University of Melbourne, Alan Gilbert Building, Lectorial Space (Rm 109)

• NSW: Westmead Institute for Medical Research, Seminar Room, Level 2

• SA: University of Adelaide, Level 7

• UQ: University of Queensland (exact room TBC)

• WA: QE2 L Block, Level 1, Geoffrey Shellam Seminar Room (Rm 1.01)

• NZ: University of Otago, Microbiology building, Level 2, Microbiology Room (Rm 208)
