Australia becoming... Conversations with Mary Graham. Sunday, 14 September, 2025
Event description
We'll gather again with Aunty Mary Graham and Leanne Levinge on Sunday, 14 September to hear their insights into Aboriginal Worldviews, and we'd love you to join us.
The Conversations help us better understand our place on this continent, so we can reflect on the wide gulf we have to navigate to learn our obligations as stewards, in an ecological collaboration.
We'll be working from Aunty Mary's foundational work, ”Some Thoughts about the Philosophical Underpinnings of Aboriginal World Views”. You'll find a copy at: https://australianhumanitiesreview.org/2008/11/01/some-thoughts-about-the-philosophical-underpinnings-of-aboriginal-worldviews/
The Conversations are thoughtful, patient and engaging. We start at 1:00 and finish at 4:00,
There is a break for afternoon tea so you can meet and catch up with an interesting group of like-minded people, and we share a "potluck" of treats (you're welcome to bring some to share).
