Join us for lunch with two incredible women: Nyadol Nyuon OAM and Gillian Triggs
Australia for UNHCR is delighted to announce that human rights advocate, Nyadol Nyuon OAM and UNHCR’s former Assistant High Commissioner for Protection, Gillian Triggs will be speaking at our upcoming event in Melbourne.
Ms Nyuon spent most of her childhood in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. She recently returned to Kakuma with Australia for UNHCR to advocate for refugee education programs. She will speak about her recent experience. Gillian Triggs will discuss her most recent role as UNHCR’s Assistant High Commissioner for Protection. It was a job that took her all over the globe advocating for the rights of some of the world’s most vulnerable people.
