Please note: If you’re interested in applying for the next round of AEA, we encourage you to get started early by contacting commercialgrants@swin.edu.au. This info session will still be valuable, but with the first deadline on 21 November, we recommend getting started before attending this webinar.

What happens next?
The AEA Grant process has three stage gates, requiring collaboration between your team, the Commercial Innovation Team, and the Research Office. Applicants are required to successfully clear each stage gate to progress to the next and remain eligible for Swinburne to submit your application:
21 November: Submit your EOI Checklist to express interest
12 December: Submit your Notice of Intent (NOI) for internal review
Mid-January: Submit your business case and revised NOI for panel review
Who should attend?
All Swinburne researchers are welcome! Whether you're already thinking about commercialisation or just curious about AEA, this session will help you understand the opportunities and whether your research could be a good fit.
And if you’ve participated in the process before, please note that it’s been updated, so this session will still be valuable for you.
