Join Dr. Rachel Franks for an intriguing look into the history of crime and punishment at the historic Liverpool Courthouse. The former Liverpool Courthouse has been undergoing refurbishment since 2021 and finally visitors will be able to see the completed works. Discover stories of criminals and victims within one of the oldest buildings in the area.
About the speaker: Dr. Rachel Franks is Coordinator, Education & Scholarship at the State Library of NSW, an Honorary Associate Lecturer at the University of Newcastle with a PhD in Australian Crime Fiction, and author of ‘An Uncommon Hangman: The Life and Deaths of Robert “Nosey Bob” Howard’.
