The Arktic Fox team are beyond excited to announce the launch of our new Digital Forum.  

As part of the launch of our new concept we are pleased to introduce our 1st Digital Forum event that is being held on the 28th of March - Australia’s Privacy Upheaval – Preparing Your Brand For Change

For our first event we have a formidable line up of experts in store to discuss what the biggest shake up in the Privacy Act will mean for brands and businesses around the country.

During this 90 minute session you can expect;

    • An initial briefing on some of the key proposed legislation changes to the Privacy Act in a short sharp digestible format
    • An expert panel discussing what these changes will practically mean for brands and how they can best prepare
    • Round-table discussion in smaller groups to discuss and share ideas with peers

OUR EXPERTS

Teresa Sperti, Founder & Director, Arktic Fox

Teresa Sperti is a Customer and Digital leader whose career spans nearly 25 years in industry working for leading brands including Coles, Officeworks and World Vision - amongst others. She is a leading expert and trusted advisor in the Australian digital, customer data and eCommerce communities.  As an executive, Teresa has had extensive experience in the privacy arena - leading compliance and ethics programs from within organisations.  As a Non Executive Director for BIG4 Holidays Parks and a member for the Audit and Risk committee, she also brings a wealth of knowledge of how to balance risk of data utilisation whilst leveraging data for growth. Teresa was named a top 20 CMO in Australia in recent years. 

Nicole Stephensen, Partner & Privacy Lead, IIS Partners
Nicole leads the privacy services program at IIS Partners, a renowned Australian privacy and data protection firm with offices in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. Her privacy career spans more than two decades, and her frank, candid and practical approach to privacy has established her as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the industry.  She is a Fellow of the Australian Information Security Association (FAISA) and is a leading member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), where she co-chairs the IAPP’s KnowledgeNet Chapter for Queensland. Prior to its incorporation into the larger IAPP in 2019, Nicole was also a founding member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals ANZ Chapter (iappANZ) where she sat for three consecutive terms on the Board.  Nicole is an active mentor for privacy and cybersecurity professionals, and she regularly volunteers her time for privacy awareness and outreach initiatives across sectors.

Billy Loizou, Area Vice President, Amperity  

Billy Loizou is a man of many hats and has 15-plus years experience in data, design, technology and marketing. Today, Billy is the Asia Pacific Area Vice President of Amperity and he partners with businesses to use best of breed technology to fuel growth and retention through data. He has consulted with some of Australia's most renowned and respected brands and in this session Billy will bring thought leadership around the impact of privacy changes on the tech stack and how brands can better navigate compliance through technology.
