Volunteering Tasmania has engaged the services of Australian Strategic Services to engage, educate and resource the Committees of Management of stand-alone HACC and CHSP funded organisations with the aim of assisting them to:

• balance and integrate their individual PASSION | PURPOSE | PRIDE with their focus on productivity, performance, and profitability of their organisation
• strengthen their ability to become more self-managing, self-directing and have autonomous teams that can discover and develop a sustainable pathway forward for their organisations, and how their service delivery can be secured to their community/ies.

Join us as we explore volunteering in context of governance and against the backdrop of COVID-19, governance, and the Aged Care Reforms.

Masterclass 1: Thursday October 8th 2020 | 4pm – 6pm 

Masterclass 2: Thursday October 15th 2020 | 4pm – 6pm
Both masterclasses are held via Zoom and will be recorded for those registered to this series.

Masterclass 1: Thursday October 8th 2020 | 4pm – 6pm 

This masterclass is targeted for Board chairs and Chief Executive Officers (CEOs)

Strengthening the chairs' and chief executive officers' understanding of the current and emerging big picture of aged care and healthcare, and what this really means for their governance and leadership, and the transformation of their organisation and its services.

Engaging the chairs and chief executive officers in a strategic discussion about their organisation’s current issues and challenges, ideas, and opportunities. Thereafter focusing on the work they are undertaking or need to undertake in regard to the development of strategies to propel their organisations into the new world of aged care and health care, customer choice and control and the ever increasingly competitive marketplace of care.

Masterclass 2: Thursday October 15th 2020 | 4pm – 6pm 

This masterclass is targeted for Board/Committee Members/Directors, CEOs & Execs/Managers, Co-ordinators/Team Leaders

Strengthening the participants understanding of the current and emerging big picture of aged care and healthcare, and what this really means for their organisation and its services.

Engaging participants in a strategic discussion about the work they are undertaking in regard to the planning, development and implementation of strategies and projects tool ensure the future success and sustainability of their organisation and its services.
