Event description

The Australian Strength Sports Expo is a small-scale, boutique strength expo built on the celebration of strength in Australia! Bringing together elite athletes, passionate fans, and high-energy competition under one roof.

Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from August 22-24, this three-day event features:

  • APL Nationals 2025 - At the centre of the action is the biggest powerlifting competition in Australian history! Where some of the nation’s strongest lifters go head-to-head on the main stage.

  • Australia's Strongest Strongman/Strongwoman - Raw, heavy, and crowd-fuelled. Expect kegs, sandbags, and serious feats of strength.

  • Iron Tribe Olympic Weightlifting - Speed, power, and precision as athletes chase the perfect lift.

  • Arm Wrestling Australia - Explosive matchups and non-stop intensity at the table.

Whether you're a lifter, coach, fan, or just love high-energy sport, then this event is for you!

Note: While publicly branded as the Australian Strength Sports Expo, the official title of this event remains the 2025 APL National Powerlifting Championships.
