Australian Volunteers Program Global Webinar Series: Celebrating the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development 2026
Description
Join us to celebrate 75 years of Australians volunteering overseas and the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development!
Since 1951, when University of Melbourne graduate student Herb Feith first began volunteering in Indonesia, Australians have enthusiastically embraced international volunteering.
The Australian Government has proudly supported more than 17,000 Australians to volunteer overseas, working alongside hundreds of partner organisations to progress their development goals.
We are delighted to bring you two webinars through our Global Webinar Series, featuring discussions with Australian Volunteers Program partners, volunteers and staff as they share reflections and stories of impact from across the years.
The two webinars will be held on Monday 28th September 2026 at:
Webinar 1: 2pm - 3pm AEST/Melbourne time
Webinar 2: 6pm - 7pm AEST/Melbourne time
A Zoom link will be shared with registered attendees prior to the event.
We hope you can join us!
