Empower Your Voice in the Meat Industry

Are you ready to stand out and make a difference in the meat industry? Join us for an exclusive, in-person workshop designed to equip women like you with the skills and confidence to effectively communicate with consumers, customers, and community members. Hosted by Meat Business Women, this one-day immersive event will arm you with the tools to engage stakeholders, build trust, and lead with shared values—making your voice heard where it matters most.

    About The Program

Consumers are asking more questions than ever before about their food. The conversation today is less about “What’s for dinner?” and more about “Should I be feeding this to my family?” and “Can I trust that it was produced responsibly?”.

Answering these ethical questions with facts doesn’t get us very far. However, communicating with shared values will.

Research shows that connecting through values is three-to-five times more powerful in building trust than simply sharing facts.

Our program focuses on the core aspects of the Center for Food Integrity Engage program to learn how to more effectively communicate with consumers and customers to build trust using the power of shared values.

By adopting the principles of values-based communication, the food industry can better respond to consumer concerns and foster a more trusting relationship with their customers.

    Why Attend?

Elevate Your Influence: In an industry where consumer trust is paramount, learn how to turn your communication into a powerful tool that resonates. Discover how the meat industry is perceived in Australia today and develop the skills to shape that narrative, sharing your story with authenticity and impact.

Master Values-Based Communication: Understand the art of putting your values at the core of your communication strategy. By learning how to connect through shared values, you’ll build stronger, more trusting relationships with your audience—whether they’re consumers, customers, or community members.

Navigate Critical Conversations: Equip yourself with the tools to handle challenging conversations that arise in your day-to-day interactions. Learn how to turn these moments into opportunities to connect personally and professionally, making a lasting impression.

Build Trust, Lead with Purpose: With a focus on shared values, you’ll be able to address ethical concerns more effectively, leading to increased trust in the food produced and consumed. Become a leader who not only shares facts but connects with others on a deeper level.
