Mitchell Cottage - 1890

During our last all night investigation, some members of the APPI crew had some great experiences in the Mitchell Cottage. We heard creaking floorboards in the room off the one we were sitting in. When we investigated, the creaking floorboard had to be troden on quite heavily for the noise to appear. It was coming from the corner of the room - almost like they were watching us. We also heard very clear foot prints, and a door opened on its own.

Bank of Australia 1920

This building is set up as an example of a small bank branch, typical of the mid 1800s.

Perry House 1856

A "House of Shady Ladies"... need we say more?

Mangold Cottage - 1886

A great little cottage that has had piano music playing in it, and people shuffling around, when there was only 1 person in there (who WASN'T moving or playing the piano).

The fine print....

1. There are no accommodation options at the Australiana Pioneer Village, this is not considered a "sleep over". It is a 7 hour event, which will include plenty of free time for you to run your own paranormal investigation.
2. If you need to leave earlier, that is perfectly fine.
3. The 'formal' portion of the evening, where you will join us for experiments etc, will take approximately 3 hours. The rest of the time is considered 'free time'.
4. Your own paranormal equipment is not required. During the set experiments, you will use our equipment. Unfortunately, due to theft in the past, we are unable to loan our equipment for the 'free time' portion of the evening.
5. You may be asked to keep your voice down, if you are loud after middnight. That is because there are residences closeby and we don't want to disturb the neighbourhood. Please be considerate.
6. Drinking alcohol and arriving intoxicated is completely forbidden, due to many reasons, some being it would be contrary to all WHS requirements, and also as it is disruptive to other guests. If we suspect you are intoxicated you will be asked to leave.
7. Age 16+ years only - and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
