About the Author

Karen lives In Shellharbour on the south coast of New South Wales. Being by the sea, with sandy toes and close to nature makes Karen happy. Karen loves the simple things in life like writing and laughing and having fun. She can be found writing in local coffee shops or even on the beach. Karen hopes Our Shellharbour inspires children to enjoy all the unique and distinct natural beauty of Shellharbour or where they live. Karen is an award-winning author with four published children’s books. This is her first self-published book.
Emma loves the colourful world of children’s book illustration. Emma loves hand drawing and using watercolour washes. She is an award-winning illustrator with 23 years’ experience.
