Trinity Cunningham
There was never a time that Trinity hasn't loved writing. Between writing songs, journaling, filling out a simple form, or trying her hand at screenwriting—give her a pen and she's in her element. In her younger years, movies and books were her escape. And when that was no longer enough, she would escape into her own imagination and the worlds she’d envisioned. When her stories could no longer be contained by her thoughts alone, she began writing them down. Hundreds of pages of idea excerpts littered her many notebooks. When that still wasn't enough, she went on to pursue screenwriting and storytelling courses, and learned how to develop her ideas into more. After a brief break from the writing world, she travelled, married, and started a family, then in 2020, was inspired once more to take her old ideas and flesh them out fully into novels. Since then, she's found her passion, delving into these fictional worlds and bringing to life new settings and characters.
K.A. Wiggins
K.A. Wiggins (Kaie) writes award-winning speculative fiction that explores the tangled webs of society, environment, and identity through intricate, dreamlike tales of monsters and magic. Best known for “eco-apocalypse + monsters in dystopian Vancouver” YA fantasy series Threads of Dreams, her short fiction also appears in Year's Best Canadian Fantasy & Science Fiction, Brave New Weird: Best New Weird Horror, Lightspeed Magazine, and Strange Horizons, among other leading fiction markets. She makes frequent appearances at regional and international conferences and festivals as a public speaker and workshop leader and spends her days with books on the traditional unceded territory of the K’omoks and Pentlatch peoples, leading the Children's Writers & Illustrators of British Columbia Society, teaching with the Creative Writing for Children Society, and working as a school library tech, and when she's not writing. Rachel A. Rosen
Rachel A. Rosen (she/her) is an activist, graphic designer, and for her sins, a high school teacher. She is the author of Cascade, the first book in The Sleep of Reason trilogy and its sequel, Blight. With Zilla Novikov, she is the co-author of The Sad Bastard Cookbook: Food You Can Make So You Don’t Die. More of her writing can be found in the Toronto Star, Trollbreath, Beyond Human: Tales of the New Us, Instant Classic (That No One Will Read), and The Dance. Rachel co-hosts the Wizards & Spaceships podcast with David L. Clink. She lives in Tkaronto (Toronto), where she is the harried personal assistant to two cats.
