Author talk and book launch: Jane Simpson
Description
You are warmly invited to the launch of Imagined Scar by prize-winning poet, Dr Jane Simpson.
Imagined Scar is the poet's fourth collection, written in the extreme isolation of lockdown following a shocking diagnosis of breast cancer. Beyond the medical journey, the poems explore history, science, and art, humour and light.
Jane will be joined by distinguished guest Lianne Dalziel CNZM.
After reading poems from her new collection, Jane will be interviewed by veteran broadcaster at Plains FM, Morrin Rout, for the station’s Bookenz show.
